(This post is brought to you by the epic-ness that is Inglourious Basterds and might - and by 'might' I mean 'will definitely' - contain SPOILERS. As Mr. Billy Shakespeare would say, thou hast been warned :))
How weird is it that I cannot wait for Uni to start just so I can have more free time? Two more weeks and I will be stalking hospital hallways and running away from syringes. Ah bliss!!
Was out 3 times in less than 48 hours this week and a) enjoyed being way too dressed up for the supermarket, b) Inglourious Basterds, and c) Starbucks and blue-eyed boys. It's good!

Monday:
dress & blazer: Zara, tights: Golden Point, watch: Tissot, bracelet: Police.
Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning:
Midnight screening of Inglourious Basterds. We started out being 4 and ended up being 16 people in total. But I'm not complaining because the popcorn fights are always better with more people! Night ended with a ride through the non-stop supermarket in search of waffles.
If anyone is interested, you'll find the movie of our post-Basterds chit-chat HERE. I'm the red-head with the funny accent :P
dress: Mango, blazer: Zara, heels: Nine West.
Wednesday Morning (Again):
5 hours after the above. Starbucks and a good time, what more can a girl want?
Same dress, different style. Because sometimes you like a piece of clothing so much that you can't give it up!
dress and cardigan: Mango, heels: Nine West.

Did I mention I saw Inglourious Basterds? I think I might have.
Short review is: OHMYGOD INGLORIOUS BASTERDS TARANTINO I LOVE YOU. (and the required exclamation points abuse!)
Long review: I loved it.
It is Tarantino rocking it. It's a violent, raw, unapologetic, entertaining thrill-ride. It's big and bold and you don't have to be a Tarantino fan to love it. Now, I admit it's not his masterpiece (Reservoir Dogs will always hold my number one spot in my heart!) but it's a great thrilling adventure and it is worth watching.
It's not for everyone, I admit it, because if you actually care about it being, you know, like historically accurate and stuff you will not like it that much seeing as it just gives History a passing glance as it sails nicely along :)) And there is gore and blood and Mexican testicles standoffs but I always thought Tarantino makes the blood work in his movies.
Plus, it's Tarantino, you just know he's gonna kill as many people as possible! It's the guy's nature, like a dog chasing its tail!
I always loved that his characters never have that moment when they pause and think about it. It's all like BAM BAM WE'RE DEAD YAAY!!
But the thing that makes this movie for me is the cast.
Now seriously, just look at these GQ Motherfuckers (Author's Note: For anyone who doesn't know, a GQMF is someone so incredibly hot/classy/stylish/amazing that they should be on a GQ Magazine cover all. the . time!) :

And you know what's even better than them being all hot? They're a bunch of amazingly talented people who did not just get in character, they simply owned that screen and that script!
Michael Fassbender as Lt. Archie Hicox and that British accent killed me. And even though he screwed up an entire plan I still loved him to bits. Til Schweiger as the psychopathic German Hugo Stiglitz was pure awesome, from his introduction to the way we was so not subtle when sticking his gun in a guy's crotch, I loved him!
My favrite boys in this movie were these two German boys, Daniel Brühl as Fredrick Zoller and August Diehl as Major Dieter Hellstrom. Daniel Brühl was adorable as the hero who maybe doesn't want to be a hero. And whose love will be his demise.
And August Diehl completely rocked my world. His character was not exactly evil but he was a really, really creepy douchebag. That is also the reason I will always refer to him as Major Creeper and also the reason why I have fallen in love with him!! He's acting is A++ and he owns the Tavern Scene. He has such and expresive face and the way he went from one emotion to the other just kept you guessing constantly if he knows that our Basterds are trying to pull one on him.

Please stay seated for the I Love The Germans intermission. Posting will resume momentarily.
August and Daniel and Til wish you a very pleasant day.
Posting will now resume as usual, thank you for your time :))

Do I seriously need to tell you how much I love Diane Kruger? Because she is perfect!
The only things I can say about Eli Roth are a) He looks just like Heros' Sylar and b) he is awesome. His character Donny Donowitz, the Jewish baseball bat swinging Nazi Hunter is awesome. Everything about him is awesome!
Brad Pitt as Lt. Aldo Raine is one funny, thick-accented, ass-kicking commander and I think that Pitt should star in a lot more comedies because his comedic timing is perfect!
Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa is, in my opinion, the star of the movie. The man won Best Actor at Cannes and I can see why. His performance is spot on, his language an his expressions and the character was the perfect combination of camp yet creepy!
He is a very very tricky guy who always knows what he's doing and that just makes his smile and easy tone that much scarier! Loved him so much!

Song of the Day: Rob Dougan - Clubbed to Death
All in all you need to see this movie as soon as possible. If not for the plot than for the acting. If not for the acting than for the amazing soundtrack (the use of music in this movie is magnificent!). And if not for that, you can always be as superficial as me and see it for the hottie German actors. Your choice ;)
