August is over already and for me it feels like like it went too fast and too slow at the same time. One more month and university starts again so I'm hoping it will be very full of movies/theater/books/icecream/sleep-overs so I can fill up my batteries before the oh-so-fun anatomy lessons!

Today went out and had lunch with Minnie at one of our favorite cafés. Best & biggest salad in the city, yes sir.

I have been really lazy with outfit photos. Translation: I keep forgetting to take some. So this post is brought to you by photos of yesterday's Starbucks meet-up with the girls, and my new aviator sunglasses that I bought in Rome!

Today is the kind of day that will be filled with a home diy spa, manicures, pedicures, movies (Charlie Bartlett, Pathology, Gonzo and The Wackness), playing the Sims 2 and maybe (big maybe) cleaning up the room and closet.

A lazy day mainly because my days have been very filled with meeting up with the girls (who I missed so so so much!!), Starbucks lattes and really awkward crushes and the nights with insomnia and food related shows so some rest is really needed or else I will be reenacting the Bride of Frankenstein for sure!

Last Friday was the last day of my summer practice and god, am I going to miss that place. And especially the people I met. I was extremely lucky to have some amazing doctors around, some friendlier than others at first, but all of them warming up to us (being clingy and bouncy does help you in this business ;D)

But the good thing is that I will be back at that place. The chief of surgery promised that if they ever have any more interesting operations (brain surgery anyone?) we will be there. Told you they all rocked.

In other news, I am finally starting my holiday! And starting it with a bang too: I am leaving for Rome on Tuesday! I really can't wait, shopping and yummy Italian ice cream, here I come! As you might have guessed, posts will be seriously lacking for the next week. But I promise a lot of photographs when I come back and a lot of outfits for it.

Okay, off to starts packing!

Last Thursday, I spent the nights at Dana's with my friends. Of course, photographs and lots of silly photos were the expected result!





Mada left us after some time, so we walked her to her car!

Every day my job/summer practice starts at 8:30 when the hospital hallways are almost empty so my outfits usually are quite ignored because immediately the heels are off and the dress is packed and I jump into my scrubs. Serious doctor coming in and all that.

But it is just my luck that on the day I wear my 5 inch heels with my hooker tights (see photos for evidence) is the day I run into one of the Doctors (who, by the way, hasn't been the friendliest one of the bunch). So he stared, I stared back and then tip-toed away.

It's a good thing I was too giddy about the operations I was going to join in on today and felt completely fabulous either way :))

The long day ended with a short trip to the mall with Andy where I finally found the French Vogue. And of course I could not resist the Aldo sale and got that pearl necklace that I have been dreaming about for ages. The ring is the representation of my newest obsession for big jewels.
