"In the days before you were young, we used to sit in the morning sun, what happened?"

First day of university today, after what suddenly feels like too short a holiday. If this were an episode of Gossip Girl my day would have been filled with drama, heartache and Martinis. Unfortunately, this is not teevee land and there was no alcohol, but rather a very boring day indeed.

The moment of the day was when my cutecutecute Starbucks boy came back to my favorite Starbucks after being gone for so long. My soy latte has never tasted this good ;)

Quote of the day:

The scene: Andy and I, half dead from lack of sleep, this close to injecting caffeine in our veins, hear the barista yell 'grande decaf latte':
Both of us: "Who the bloody hell gets decaf?"

Now really, who does get decaf?

*

jeans: Mango, studded cardigan: Mango, top: United Colors of Benetton, random necklaces and rings.

Song of the Day: She Wants Revenge - Tear you apart

Today was my first day back at the university too. It wasn't so bad, I'm trying to look on the brighter side this semester! Love the photos btw.

That sucks about having to go back to uni!

& you're right. Decaf coffee is completely pointless. Have a milo... don't insult us with your decaf!

I really like that studded cardi, it looks awesome! & yes, I'm sure you've worn jeans before, but this is the first time I recall.

You look gorgeous as always

Every time I read your blog, I am reminded of the book, Surbuban Shaman, was written by a South African doctor and had it been a blog , would have been a fab read - will get you the author's full name and who knows, one day you might read it..

I love your necklaces! Haha thanks for linking :) I can only watch Gossip Girl a day after it's aired in the States because I don't get it here in Singapore (cue horror music!)

Haha oh and don't kill me for saying this, but I think coffee smells nicer than it tastes ;p

Those are really awesome photos. Even better that it's in black and white. Ahh, you're so pretty. :D

And yes, WHY DECAF? It's so...confusing. I wish my life was like Gossip Girl (fashion wise! But I wouldn't mind having my own Chuck Bass. Haha! :D)

Well, speaking of coffee- I am right now, and usually am each morning, sipping (yes, through a straw) my mocha cafe whilst working on my blog, be it updating, replying or just reading what you all have to say. Hoping this new year brings you lots of goodies, Anna. LOTS OF LOVE being sent out your way! :)

"Who the bloody hell gets decaf?" True indeed, quite likely the same people who buy non-alcoholic beer.
