"Outfit; Permanent jetlag"

The past seven days have been weird and tiring and I am so glad it's almost the weekend and almost Christmas holiday (9 days an counting). Today was my first venture outside the house in about a week and it was very nice, filled with Starbucks coffee and silly microbiology tests and the smell of formaldehyde... in other words, things are starting to be back to normal again :)

I am currently living out of boxes because we are still in The Big Cleaning of the House of '08. The good thing is that my room is finally done, we have some gorgeous brand new forks and spoons and cups that actually match!

I am also leaving you with an assortment of photos taken during the past few days. I haven't been using my camera a lot lately so I'm gonna try to get that back on track too.

Now I have an episode of Gossip Girl to watch again (am I the only one who fell in love with Chuck even more after this last one?) and a brand new episode of House waiting for me :)

My mom got this huge teddy bear as a gift for a friend and her baby. Photos needed to be taken before the bear was given away!

"Don't shoot me Santa, but can I have them all?"

It's December and that means good cheer, hot chocolate, the smell of Christmas trees and, of course, presents! As my best friend said today: "I'd like to spend the entire Xmas day doing nothing but opening presents!". And even though we will both be spending it with family around a huge dinner table girls can dream, can't they?

I always love what I get, I don't think I've ever met a Christmas present I did not like. But any girl dreams so here is:

"My Perfect Christmas Wishlist"

(or "What I'd Buy This Christmas If I Were Ridiculously Rich" List)
(or "What I'd Love To Get This Christmas If My Friends Were Ridiculously Rich" List)

Shoes, shoes, shoes and shoes:
McQueen. Azzaro. McQueen. Marc Jacobs.

An oh-so-comfy vintage Batman tee. Luella Batman Clutch.

Syringe necklace. Motif Vibe ;)

Black & White Stripe Skinny Jeans (reminds me of the Joker for some reason). Best headphones ever (or cutest, anyways!).

Comfy hoodie to feed my obsession for anything related to anatomic drawings. Givenchy Prisme Libre.

Panic at the Disco - Live in Chicago DVD (can't help loving these silly boys and their music) Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog DVD (Best. Musical. Ever!)

Alexander McQueen Union Jack Clutch. Umberto Eco's On Ugliness book (I already have his On Beauty book and I loved it!)

Rebecca Minkoff Cheri bag (perfect for my schoolbooks and my camera that I carry around all day with me). Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 Lens.

Blackberry Curve 8310 (I love my Nokia but this phone makes my heart leap!). Rebecca Taylor silk cashmere cardigan (what can be comfier and better than cashmere and sequines together?)

Rodarte studded gloves (found through Gala Darling and they are perfect!). Antique Watch Pendant.

Gryphon Sequines Jacket. Peacock feather headband.

And, if Santa is feeling up for it, I would not mind one of these man candies under my tree either:

(click for slightly bigger)

Neil Patrick Harris (and I will take him with his gorgeous boyfriend David any day!). Robert Downey Jr. Lee Pace.

Jared Leto. Hugh Jackman. Jake Gyllenhaal.

Joseph Gordon Levitt. Eamon Sullivan (aka one of the reasons I loved the Olimpics). Joshua Jackson.

Johnny Depp. Christian Bale. Ed Westwick.

(Yes. This last part of the post is just an excuse so I can post photos of lovely and talented men but who can blame me? ;)

"It's gonna be legen - wait for it. - dary"

Quote of the night:
M: I - I have - I feel so weird. Like there's something in my soul, in me, sliding, you know?
Me: It's called being drunk.
M: Oh. Yeah, I think so.

Nothing beats deciding in exactly four seconds flat, at 9:51pm, that you suddenly want Starbucks from the mall and immediately start running in heels towards the car, speeding down one of the busiest streets in the city, parking inches away from another car and sliding through the doors (while running into your Starbucks crush) 3 minute before closing time.

While being drunk.

We must have looked like three very very happy girls. Happy National Day again, Romania :)

I can now pull an all-nighter with my physiology courses because I had my booze, my adrenaline and now my Dark Cherry Mocha :)

PS: This is my 99th post.
PPS: And the first time I managed 2 posts in one day!

"Outfit; Theres something in the distance, a glorious existance"

Happy National Day, Romania! Thank you for the day off!

In other news, my house is in the middle of winter cleaning and renovation. I am sitting on boxes and living with a clean freak of a mother. So of course this also meant The Cleaning of the Closet (yes, capitalization is needed, believe me.). I realized yesterday, after 5 hours of sorting and cleaning (and watching the second half of season 1 of How I Met Your Mother) that I have a lot of clothes and this only means one thing:

I need to buy a bigger closet ;D
