"Ich will eure phantasie"

Killer heels and red hair? Yes please!

*

A few weeks ago I got an e-mail from the lovely Danielle from Solestruck.com telling me they liked my blog and that I could choose a pair of shoes from their extended, amazing collection.

Needless to say I jumped with joy!! There might have been even a happy dance involved, but if anyone asks I will deny it to the end ;D

The shoes arrived a few days ago and they are even more beautiful in person than they are in the photos. They are uber comfy even with the high heel (did I say high? I meant skyscraper. But you'll never see me complain about that!) and I cannot wait to wear them out for the first time with a cute LBD and my lace gloves. Rawr!

Huge thanks to Danielle for her patience with me and the fact that it usually takes me ages to respond to e-mails, and if you haven't visited Solestruck yet than what are you waiting for? The shoes are fabulous, the delivery is impeccable and the package got here very fast (even when taking a detour through Russia and Hungary. What the hell, eastern European post, that's why I love you).

I'm off to prance around the house in my new shoes and PJ's now.

"I take the necessary steps to get some air into my chest"

My uni is starting to live up to it's reputation: long, tiring and moving too fast. I had a small panic attack yesterday when I suddenly thought that my exams were in June and not July. That would have resulted in more panic attacks and probably the fastest learning session ever. Who needs sleep or food? Like my Anatomy teacher said: "No time to study? What, don't you have nights?"

Thank god for lazy mornings when I can sit down with a cup of coffee, cuddled up in my bath robe and watching Star Trek or a good movie. Finished watching Easy Virtue today and I recommend it with all my heart. Funny yet slightly cynical movie, but if you're like me that's the perfect combination!

Have a great day everyone. Mine will be spent between libraries and gym classes so better load up on coffee while there's still time!

Monday:
A good day. Managed not to get kicked out of English class for playing Rock-Paper-Scissor-Lizard-Spock and that is a small victory me thinks. Big Bang Theory fans will understand ;))

Tuesday:
Too much Red Bull, too little food, 4 hours of library study and too much Start Trek.

One of the gifts I got for my birthday is this amazing Calvin Klein jewelery bracelet. It is my new baby right now!

"A brand new boy I dont even know yet; next thing he's wearing my Rolex!"

My life has been speeding up lately. I can't believe that May is almost over, exams are around the corner and days seems slightly shorter. Either that, or I am too tired for my own good, living off Red Bull and too many smiles. But surprisingly I love it like this!

My days this week had been spent getting bored at uni, getting my butt kicked at the gym and watching Heroes and Star Trek: The Original Series.

Tune in next week kids, for more Red Bull, more Spock lovin' and more outfits!

Thursday:
A very special day :*

Saturday:
All the museums were open all night, so Roxana, Florina and I did what we know best: eat at a cute bistro, take lots of photos and have a sleepover with no sleep!

Us and the National History Museum.

We visited the Literature Museum too.

And ended up in front of the Court House taking photos at midnight!

sating shirt: Mango, jean shorts: Bershka, tights: H&M, booties: Replay Jeans.

"If the world ends, I think we could laugh just enough to not die in pain"

*

And sometimes, it feels like some things just fall into place. Shared smiles over glasses of alcohol as the ice cubes (half melted, but still there) touch your lips, laughs as the cigarette smokes swirls in indistinguishable shapes above your head and under the stars, the vibrations of the music under your toes as the night passes on.

I feel sometimes as if I can actually hear the click of most of the pieces arranging themselves in this weird puzzle to form an image. Finally. It's still not there, not fully; more like watching a movie through foggy glasses or like a watercolor painting that has been kept under rain drops. But still, every good feeling has to have a beginning, isn't that so?

*

Friday night, my birthday get-together. One huge table, great live music, good food and good hearts. Do you actually need anything more than that for a perfect night? I honestly think that that is what happiness feels like.

Roxana, Florina and I.

Yes, there was alcohol involved! Me, Irina D, Maria and Andy.

Irina and her boy, looking adorable together. Me giggling like a kid along side Mada and Dana.

Between one Irina and the other.

This is the moment where we all stop what we're doing and start loving Maria's new hair style, which is absolutely divine.

Why yes, we are mostly 21 years old. Mostly.

Andy's hair is also gorgeous. No wonder I felt the need to color my hair, just look at the competition!

The Gifts also rocked my socks straight off my feet!

My friends know me well; a comic book geek with a shopaholic brain.

"Oh, we're still so young, desperate for attention; I aim to be your eyes, trophy boys, trophy wives"

*

I am having a mid-life crises 20 years earlier than usually expected. Other people buy expensive cars or expensive jewelery or expensive pool boys, but seeing as I am not doing to well on the credit side of things, I did the next best thing.

I am now officially a red-head.

And just in time for my birthday tomorrow. 21 years old, officially aloud to drink alcohol anywhere in the world now, what a bummer :))

So Happy Birthday to Me (as if this post wasn't narcissistic enough!) and here's to being red & hopefully drunk soon!

:)
