"It's a cigar in one hand, and a Chanel bag in the other"

Is it really any surprise that my girl-crush is still staying strong for Miss Daria Werbowy? I think not!

The only question that remains now is this: Where can I get me a pair of those sequined pants?

"Outfit; We speed along streets on bright pink bullet"

*

August is over already and for me it feels like like it went too fast and too slow at the same time. One more month and university starts again so I'm hoping it will be very full of movies/theater/books/icecream/sleep-overs so I can fill up my batteries before the oh-so-fun anatomy lessons!

Today went out and had lunch with Minnie at one of our favorite caf├ęs. Best & biggest salad in the city, yes sir.

Minnie had a no photo day so of course I totally ignored her wishes. That's really what best friends with cameras and blogs are for.

Pink Ray Bans from Rome. Big and darling earrings from Minnie <3

Pink belt & headband were todays very cheap acquisitions, hooray.

"Outfit; I kissed a boy just to start shit, homeboy was not about it"

I have been really lazy with outfit photos. Translation: I keep forgetting to take some. So this post is brought to you by photos of yesterday's Starbucks meet-up with the girls, and my new aviator sunglasses that I bought in Rome!

Today is the kind of day that will be filled with a home diy spa, manicures, pedicures, movies (Charlie Bartlett, Pathology, Gonzo and The Wackness), playing the Sims 2 and maybe (big maybe) cleaning up the room and closet.

A lazy day mainly because my days have been very filled with meeting up with the girls (who I missed so so so much!!), Starbucks lattes and really awkward crushes and the nights with insomnia and food related shows so some rest is really needed or else I will be reenacting the Bride of Frankenstein for sure!

Rome photos will be arriving soon!

Until then, I don't know how many Fall Out Boy fans/listeners are around here, but THIS has been keeping me busy and laughing for the past day so go and download it now please.

"Roman cavalry choirs are singing my dreams"

*

Rome for me will always be the sum of many things:

sunshine + short skirts + best pizza in the world + gorgeous funny men

st. peter's cathedral + vogue italia + coconut snacks + colored ray ban's

american accents + gifts + being a typical turist + icecream for breakfast

pigeons + bouncing on the bed at night while watching the olympic swimming on tv (eamon sullivan *hearts*) + coldplay

pink shirts + punk boys + chanel + sitting on any available stairs

wearing sunglasses inside + rosaries + romania's olympic gold + no sleep + red leather jackets

Yup, I'm back ;)

*

Edited to add: More photos definitely coming this way in the next few days!

"Safety pins hold up the things that keep me smiling"

Last Friday was the last day of my summer practice and god, am I going to miss that place. And especially the people I met. I was extremely lucky to have some amazing doctors around, some friendlier than others at first, but all of them warming up to us (being clingy and bouncy does help you in this business ;D)

But the good thing is that I will be back at that place. The chief of surgery promised that if they ever have any more interesting operations (brain surgery anyone?) we will be there. Told you they all rocked.

In other news, I am finally starting my holiday! And starting it with a bang too: I am leaving for Rome on Tuesday! I really can't wait, shopping and yummy Italian ice cream, here I come! As you might have guessed, posts will be seriously lacking for the next week. But I promise a lot of photographs when I come back and a lot of outfits for it.

Okay, off to starts packing!

Last Thursday, I spent the nights at Dana's with my friends. Of course, photographs and lots of silly photos were the expected result!

Mada left us after some time, so we walked her to her car!

Dana has a puppy so we spent some time walking her outside.

Minnie looking very cute.

I really love her elevator mirror!

Dana's boyfriend joined us some time.

Her house has a lot of mirrors. Of course we could not let this opportunity pass by!

Meet Fitzy :))

Morning brought tea, bagels and gossip. Lovely as always.
